Eri Muso is currently Professor of Department of Food and Nutrition, Faculty of Contemporary Home Economics, Kyoto Kacho University. She was Director of Nephrology at Kitano Hospital Tazuke Kofukai Medical Research Institute in Osaka until 2016 now a visiting researcher of this Institute. She was an executive board member in Japanese Society of Nephrology (2010-2016) and now a honorary member. She is an active research member of Special Research Group of Rapidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis in Progressive Renal Diseases Research from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan. She has lectured and published extensively in the fields of mouse model of IgA nephropathy (HIGA), refractory nephrotic syndrome and ANCA associated vasculitis with more than 180 English publications including Kidney Int. JASN. J Immunol. J Pathology. IShe is also an active member of Japanese renal pathology society and teaching adviser of clinical nephrology and renal pathology in three hospitals in Kyoto and Osaka.
