Dr Pillebout is a nephrologist at St Louis Hospital in Paris, France. For 18 years, she has been working across all aspects of nephrology with a clinical and research interest in IgA Vasculitis. Her research, with INSERM U1149, focusing on a bedside approach, aims to improve our understanding of the pathogenesis of IgA Vasculitis, identifying early prognostic biomarkers and treatments for nephritis or skin relapses. She participated in the last KDIGO Glomerular Diseases Conference, had recently joined the IgAV working group for the IIgANN research group and gave a lecture “IgA Vasculitis Nephritis: New Insights into Prognosis and Treatment from a Large International Study” at the ASN Kidney Week 2022.
