Prof. Nakanishi has received his MD in Kobe University during the period of 1983-1989. Currently, he serves as President, Japanese Society for Pediatric Nephrology. His research has included IgA nephropathy, HSPN, Alport syndrome, PKD, genetic NS and so on. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Pediatric Nephrology. He has authored Pediatric Nephrology textbook. He has served as a member of the development of international guidelines for nephrotic syndrome and IgA nephropathy in children.
