Motoshi Hattori is currently Professor of Department of Pediatric Nephrology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. His academic positions include Councilor or Board of directors of Japan Pediatric Society, Japanese Society for Pediatric Nephrology, Japanese Society for Pediatric Renal Failure, Japan Society for Transplantation, Japanese Society for Clinical Kidney Transplantation, Japanese Society of Nephrology, Japanese Society of Pediatric Urology, Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy, Japanese Society for Apheresis and Japan Society for Blood Purification in Critical Care. His research mainly focused on the therapy for pediatric end-stage kidney disease and the pathogenesis of post-transplant recurrence of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.
