Ritsuko Katafuchi is currently Vice President of Medical Corporation Houshikai, Kano Hospital. Her academic positions include Meritorious Member of Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN), Preceptor of Japanese Society of Dialysis Therapy, and A Member of Special Research Group of IgA Nephropathy in Progressive Renal Diseases Research from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare of Japan. Her research mainly focused on pathology and treatment of IgA nephropathy. She has 88 English publications, including Kidney Int, JASN, CJASN, NDT, AJKD, Clinical Nephrology and CEN.
