He graduated from Tokyo Medical University got MD in 1998 and started to work as junior resident of internal medicine in Department of Nephrology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. He got Ph.D. from Tokyo Women ‘s Medical University in 2004, and worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Department of Pathology, Louisiana State University, Shreveport, LA, USA, from 2005 to 2006, and in Kidney Disease Center, Department of Medicine, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, USA from 2006 to 2007. He worked as Assistant Professor from 2008 to 2017 and as Associate Professor from 2017-2022 in Department of Nephrology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. He is currently Professor of Department of Nephrology, Tokyo Medical University.
