Dr. Isao Matsui, a nephrologist at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, graduated from Osaka University Medical School in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. in 2007. His career spans clinical practice at Osaka University Hospital and JCHO Osaka Hospital, and academic research. Dr. Matsui served as assistant professor in Geriatrics and Nephrology before becoming a lecturer in Nephrology and the Transdimensional Life Imaging Division in 2022. His research focuses on CKD-MBD and pioneering AI analysis of renal biopsy images. Certified in internal medicine, nephrology, and dialysis therapy, he is affiliated with prestigious societies including the Japanese Society of Nephrology and American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Matsui's excellence is recognized through multiple awards, such as the ISN NEXUS Symposium Best Abstract Award and the Osaka University President's Encouragement Award, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.
