BEST PRESENTATION AWARD/
OUTSTANDING ABSTRACT AWARD
The symposium will offer a Best Presentation Award and /Outstanding Abstract Award to those who apply and meet the requirements.
The official names of the awards are "JSN/ERA Symposium Award 2024 - Best Presentation Award" and "JSN/ERA Symposium Award 2024 - Outstanding Abstract Award".
If you intend to apply for the award, please indicate your intention by ticking the box at the time of abstract submission.
The awardees of the Outstanding abstract will present their presentation in the oral session, and the Best Presentation Award will be determined by scoring.
Awardees must attend the welcome reception on September 14, 2024.
Criteria:
- No age limits.
- Delegates are expected to attend the symposium and give a presentation. If delegates are unable to give an onsite presentation, the grant will be given to the next candidate.
- A presentation by a representative of the co-authors is acceptable, but the prize will not be awarded.
- The award will be decided on the basis of the applicant's abstract score and the distance between the countries of residence. The Best Presentation Award will be awarded taking into account the overall abstract evaluation score and the on-site presentation score.
- The application for the Travel Grant can be submitted at the same time as the application for the Best Presentation Award/Outstanding Abstract Award.
TRAVEL GRANT
A travel grant will be offered to those who apply and meet the requirements.
The official name of the travel grant is “JSN/ERA Symposium Travel Grant Award 2024”.
Please note that the number of travel grants we can offer is limited.
If you intend to apply for the grant, please indicate your intention by ticking the box at the time of abstract submission.
Travel grant’s awardees are required to attend the Welcome Reception on September 14, 2024.
Travel Grant awardees must complete the form included in the acceptance letter and return it to the office.
The payment of the Travel Grant is subject to the actual attendance of the grantee at the Symposium, who must present a valid identity card to the staff present at the Faculty Desk during the days of the Symposium and fill in and sign the relevant form.
Criteria:
- Applicants must be 40 years old or younger at the time of the abstract submission deadline.

Delegates are expected to attend the symposium onsite and give a presentation. If the delegates are unable to give a presentation, the grant will be passed to the next candidate.
※A presentation by a representative of the co-authors is acceptable, but the grant will not be awarded. - The Travel Grant will be selected on the basis of the applicant’s Abstract score and the distance between the country of residence.
