Dr. Kengo Kidokoro is an assistant professor in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at Kawasaki Medical School. He received his MD in 2004 and PhD in 2013 from Kawasaki Medical School. Following his doctorate, he served as a research fellow at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. Since 2016, he has been an assistant professor at Kawasaki Medical School. He uses in vivo imaging techniques to visualize glomerular filtration function and glomerular hemodynamics to elucidate the pathophysiology of various renal diseases such as diabetic kidney disease.
