Sasaki, Kensuke

Dr. Kensuke Sasaki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at Hiroshima University Hospital, Japan. He earned his M.D. from Hiroshima University in 2005 and completed his Ph.D. in 2015 in Nephrology (Takao Masaki lab) at Hiroshima University, focusing on epigenetics and renal fibrosis. From 2018 to 2021, he worked at the Raymond C. Harris Lab at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN, USA, first as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow and then as a Research Instructor. During this period, he contributed significantly to nephrology research in the lab. In 2021, he returned to Hiroshima University Hospital as an Assistant Professor.
