Masanori Tamaki

Dr. Masanori Tamaki is a lecturer and nephrologist at Tokushima University, as well as a councilor of the Japanese Society of Nephrology. He began his medical career in April 2006 at Nihon University Itabashi Hospital and later joined Keio University School of Medicine as an assistant professor. After further training at Eiju General Hospital, he returned to Keio University, specializing in nephrology. Since 2014, he has held various positions at Tokushima University Hospital, currently serving as a lecturer. Dr. Tamaki has been recognized with several awards, including the Travel Grant Award at the 52nd ERA-EDTA Congress and the Young Investigator Award at the 89th Japan Endocrine Society Meeting. His clinical skills include renal biopsy, peritoneal dialysis, and PTA for vascular access. His research includes work published in Kidney International in 2014 on chronic kidney disease and muscle mitochondria.
