Mizui, Masayuki
- Associate professor, Department of Nephrology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine
I graduated from Osaka University in 1998 and completed clinical training at Osaka University Hospital and Osaka Kosei-Nenkin Hospital. After engaging in nephrology research and honing expertise during graduate school, I further pursued research in basic immunology at the Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Immunology Frontier Research Center at Osaka University, and research for SLE at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard University.
In order to elucidate the immunological mechanisms involved in the progression of kidney diseases, I am now engaged in research aimed at controlling the disease progression from the perspective of immune cell dynamics, while advancing the understanding of pathophysiology of immune diseases and developing novel treatments.
