Midori Hasegawa is Professor of the Department of Nephrology within the School of Medicine. She is also Director of the Medical Cooperation and Welfare Consultation Department in the University Hospital.

Last year, she published papers on comparing antibody responses to COVID-19 mRNA vaccination by different immunosuppressive treatment regimens and on cardio-renal event biomarkers in CKD. In addition, her research focuses on ANCA-associated vasculitis, the relationship between vitamin K and vascular calcification, and kidney transplantation.
