Norihiko Sakai is an Associate Professor and Director of Division of Blood Purification at Kanazawa University in Japan.
He received hid MD from Osaka City University Faculty of Medicine and PhD from Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medicine
In 2010, he joined the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States as a research fellow and had investigated the mechanisms of organ fibrosis. Since then, he has been focusing on the pathophysiology of organ fibrosis.
