Saori Nishio is a Professor of the Department of Hemodialysis and Apheresis of Hokkaido University Hospital.
She completed her medical training at Hokkaido University Hospital and general hospitals in Hokkaido before travelling to the USA to work as a Research Associate in the Department of Medicine at Yale University.
Her research focuses on Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease. She is also a leader of a team developing the evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for polycystic kidney disease.
