Sayaka Sugioka is an assistant professor of Kyoto University School of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan. She is now involved with clinical work, basic research and teaching medical students.
She graduated from Kobe University School of Medicine, completed her medical training at Osaka Red Cross Hospital and got a PhD by basic research in Kyoto University.
Her research focuses on the renal pathophysiology of glomerulus, especially podocytes and natriuretic peptide.
