He graduated from Kyoto University and completed his medical training at Otsu Red Cross Hospital and Kitano Hospital. After training, he has focused on in-vivo kidney ATP imaging in the Department of Nephrology, Kyoto University School of Medicine, and received award at the 61th Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Nephrology in 2018. He also belongs to the RPGN guideline systematic review team, and the Research Committee on Intractable Vasculitides, and the Strategic Study Group to Establish Evidence for Intractable Vasculitis Guideline.
