My name is Shun Manabe, and I am a lecturer in the Department of Nephrology at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. I am a nephrologist specializing in kidney pathology and nephritis/nephrosis. I graduated from Hokkaido University in 2007. I completed my junior residency at St. Luke’s International Hospital and subsequently began my specialized training in nephrology at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. During my training, I studied kidney pathology and experimental kidney diseases in the Department of Kidney and Vascular Pathology at Tsukuba University. In 2016, I became a fellow of the Japanese Society of Nephrology. I was appointed as an assistant professor in 2017 and promoted to lecturer in 2024. I am excited to moderate case reports featuring interesting kidney biopsy findings.
