Mori, Takayasu

Dr. Takayasu Mori graduated from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2005 and began his career at Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital until 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in nephrology from the same university in 2013, during which he also collaborated with the National Institute of Genetics. From 2014 to 2016, he served as a Medical Fellow and part-time lecturer in nephrology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He then conducted postdoctoral research in genetic medicine at the University of Washington from 2015 to 2017. Returning to Japan, he joined the Blood Purification Therapy Department at Tokyo Medical and Dental University Hospital, serving as an assistant professor until June 2024. As of July 2024, he is a lecturer in the same department. Dr. Mori is a member of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the Japanese Society of Nephrology, the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy, and the Japan Society of Human Genetics.
