Tomomi Endo is Deputy Director of the Department of Nephrology and Dialysis in Medical Research Institute, Kitano Hospital in Japan.
She graduated from Shiga University of Medical science and completed her medical training at Kyoto University Hospital and Kitano Hospital. She attended Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine in Kyoto University. Her research focused on the tubular epithelial cells’ regeneration from using renal pathology and linage tracing technique. She was awarded Young Investigator Award, International Society of Nephrology, Nexus Symposium 2010.
In her current position since 2012, she has been active in her clinical experience and research, specializing in renal pathology and vasculitis. She is a member of the academic committee of Japanese Renal Pathology Society. She is also actively involved in peritoneal dialysis and conservative kidney management.
