Tsuyoshi Inoue is the professor at department of physiology of visceral function and body fluid, graduate school of biomedical sciences, Nagasaki University, Nagasaki, Japan. He earned his MD from Nagasaki University in 2004, his PhD from the University of Tokyo in 2013. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Nephrology at the University of Virginia from 2014-2018 and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CKD Pathophysiology at the University of Tokyo from 2018-2020, and has been in his current position since 2020. Since 2014, he has been actively conducting research related to renal protective mechanisms mediated by the nervous system-immune system. Representative papers include Genome Biology, J Clin Invest, Nat Neurosci, Kidney Int, J Am Soc Nephrol, and others.
