NAKANO Yukihito is an Assistant Professor of the Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine, Osaka, Japan.
After graduating from Kindai University Faculty of Medicine in 2007, he completed his training at Kindai University Hospital. He worked as a staff physician at Kindai University Hospital and Kushimoto Municipal Hospital before moving to his current position and obtained Ph.D. from Kindai University Graduate School of Medical Sciences in 2019.
In his research activities, he is elucidating the mechanism of glomerular damage due to hypertension by clarifying the changes in glomerular hemodynamic regulation. He is also investigating the antioxidant therapy as a treatment option. He has presented his research findings at the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nephrology and other conferences.
