Dr. Maruyama’s current research interests include the area of renal anemia and peritoneal dialysis, especially the combined therapy with peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.
Dr. Maruyama is a member of the Japanese society of Internal Medicine, the Japanese society of Nephrology, the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy, the Japanese Society for Peritoneal Dialysis and the Japanese Society of Gout and Nucleic Acids.
