As a nephrologist, I am engaged in the diagnosis and research of kidney diseases, dialysis treatment, and non-communicable diseases such as hypertension. My research spans from basic to clinical studies, focusing on disease susceptibility genes for hypertension, primary aldosteronism, and the fatigue of dialysis patients. Currently, I work at the YCU Co-Creation Innovation Center at Yokohama City University, where I promote industry-academia-government collaboration, support translational research, and advance open innovation. My activities are centered on implementing the university's research outcomes in society, driven by a social agenda.
