In March 2004, graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, from 2004 to 2006, served as a junior resident at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, from 2009, became a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow (DC2), obtained a Ph.D. in Medicine in March 2011. From April 2011, served as an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at Keio University, from July 2012, assistant professor at the university's Center for Preventive Medicine, from April 2017, returned as an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology, Endocrinology, and Metabolism, and from April 2023, served as a professor and head of the clinical department.
