COI disclosure for both oral and poster presentation

  • All presenters (Oral and Poster) must disclose any conflicts of interest (COI).
  • The lead presenter for oral is requested to announce the relevant COI situation in the first presentation slide (or the slide following the title and presenters).
  • The lead presenter for poster is requested to indicate the relevant COI situation at the end of the poster.
  • COI PowerPoint slide can be downloaded from the website below.

Oral Presentation guidelines

1. Preparation of Presentation Data

  • Only Microsoft PowerPoint presentations (*pptx – please make sure that you do not use PowerPoint Show *.ppsx) will be accepted.
  • Use high-contrast lettering and avoid excessive text per page.
  • Use the following fonts to avoid garbling: Arial, Arial Black, Century, Century Gothic.
  • Please confirm in advance that the data can be displayed on an external monitor.
  • Ensure to bring your own AC mains adapter and external output connector.
  • Presenter view is not available during your presentation.
  • Do not include any identifying information (such as names or initials) in your presentation.

2. Presentation Upload

  • Bring your presentation data on a USB Stick.
  • Upload your presentation slides in the preview site at least 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled session.
  • A technician in the review site will assist in uploading your presentations.
  • Presentation slides will be uploaded from the laptop in the review site, and the uploaded data will be transferred to each lecture room.
  • Please note that your presentation slides will be copied for backup.

September 15 (Sun): 7:30 - 14:30

3. Presentation Time

  • Award session (Oral): 7 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion (total 10 minutes)
  • Individually informed to each speaker for symposia

Poster Presentation guidelines

1. Preparation of presentation data

  • Prepare your poster to fit within the displayable size.
  • Include presentation title, author names, and affiliations in your poster.

2. Poster Panel Dimensions

Panel: 900mm (W) x 2100mm (H)

Presentation number banner: 900mm (W) x 200mm (H) (prepared and placed on the panel by the symposium staff)

Recommended poster size: 900mm (W) x 1800mm

3. Poster Check-in and Removal

  • All presenters must make their presentations onsite.
  • Poster presenters are requested to check in, set up, and remove their poster according to the poster schedule.
  • Check-in desks are located in front of each poster room, and poster presenters are requested to check in their poster at the designated rooms.

  • *Poster presentations should be replaced each day. Presenters are not able to display their poster prior to their presentation day.
  • *Any posters left after their scheduled time will be removed by the secretariat and disposed of after the symposium ends.

4. Presentation Time

  • Presenters are requested to make their presentation at the designated session time within the allocated presentation time. The session will be conducted by the session chairs.
  • Poster session: 5 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion (total 8 minutes)

5. Poster Printing Service

We inform you of a service that handles everything from printing posters to attaching them to poster boards at the venue. Please use this service if you want to attend the event empty-handed or save the time of posting. If you wish to use this service, please note that you will be entering into a direct contract with Kinko's Japan Co., Ltd.
